DOLLHOUSE CHINA -- ART DECO & ART NOVEAUThere is a fine line between the Art Deco and Art Noveau styles of art. Some designs can be placed in either category which is why I have grouped them together. In general Art Deco designs tend to be more stylized and more geometric. Whereas Art Noveau designs tend to be more flowing. The gold used on most of these dollhouse china pieces is a burnished gold. Burnished gold is more expensive due to its high gold content and has a richer satin finish than liquid brite gold. Most of my dollhouse china shapes can be ordered with this sort of design by e-mailing me with the design you want and the piece you would like it on.
