This category contains the very popular 'Dragonware' porcelains. 'Dragonware' are dragons applied to the porcelain with a slip trailing technique called moriage. 'Dragonware' was made in Japan as early as the late 1800's and continued well into the 1940's and beyond. Imari designs are also included in this category. The pieces in this category feature designs found on oriental porcelains, mostly from the period around WWII and before. Although most of these pieces would be considered Antique Reproduction they are all oriental designs and are therefore grouped separately.
